If you belong to a PPO, you probably have chiropractic benefits. If you have an HMO, you will not have any coverage that can be used in Dr. Strauss’ office.

Dr. Strauss is an Out-of-Network provider for most insurance companies. She is an In-Network provider for United Healthcare and Blue Shield.

What Are Your Benefits?

If you wish to call your insurance company yourself, here are the important questions to ask:

1. Do I have Out-of-Network coverage for chiropractic?
2. Do I have a deductible to meet?
3. Have I met any of my deductible this year?
4. How many visits do I have per year?
5. What percentage of each visit is covered?
6. Do I have a co-payment at each visit?

What Are The Fees?

Dr. Strauss accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards. She will process your insurance claims as a service to you. Payment is expected at time of service. The fees are as follows:

Physical Exam $105
X-rays $80-160
Office Visit $50
Massage/Active Release/Pressure Point $35/15 minute session
Ultrasound $35
Muscle Stimulation $35
Can you grow an inch in a week? '

We spend far too much time slumped over computers, wearing high heels and idling around on sofas watching TV,' says Sue Wakefield, executive director of the British Chiropractic Association.

As a direct result, most of us may well be standing up to 2 inches shorter than we need to be.
