If you think you have been injured at work, please read on.

If you believe that you have an injury from work , your employer carries Worker’s Compensation Insurance so that you can receive treatment. Worker’s Compensation has specific rules to follow and it is meant to protect the injured worker.

If you believe you have an injury, tell your immediate supervisor or manager so that you can seek treatment.  The sooner you receive treatment, the better.

If your injury is approved as a work injury, you will bear no out-of-pocket expense to receive treatment.  In addition, you are allowed to miss time from work (although it is unpaid, or paid with sick leave), to receive treatment.  The goal of my treatment is to get you back to work as soon as possible.  This will guarantee you the best possible outcome.

A full third of work injuries are repetitive strain injuries from using a computer.  One of the most common is Mousing Shoulder.

If you feel pain, ask your employer immediately for an ergonomic assessment of your work station.
